Odessa Regional Medical Center is hosting a free health education seminar to discuss hip and knee joint replacement at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 in the ORMC East Campus Auditorium, located at 515 Adams Ave. in Odessa (corner of 5th and Adams).
Total joint replacement surgery is one of the most commonly performed and successful operations in orthopedics. It is also one of the most cost-effective procedures in all of medicine. This seminar will discuss:
- Advances in surgical techniques
- Pain management
- Care coordination
- Other important factors in hip and knee replacement
